David L. Fisher is currently the Superintendent Emeritus of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. He served as Superintendent of the MPRB from 1981 until 1998. He previously served as the Assistant Superintendent for Operations from 1977 until 1981, Commissioner of the Maple Grove, MN, Park and Recreation Board, Director of Planning and Operations with the Winnetka Park District, Winnetka, IL. David received his B.S. Degree in Park Administration and Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. He currently is a consultant with various state, local and national organizations and serves on various public and private Boards in Minnesota.
