Robert L. Reid, retired President and Chief Executive Officer of Leroy Springs & Company, Inc. (40 years of service). He received his B.S. degree in Physical Education from Erskine College in 1953. Professional affiliations include: Member, South Carolina Recreation and Park Association (since 1956); President, South Carolina Recreation and Park Association (1964, 1965, 1966); Member, National Recreation and Park Association (since 1961); Past-chair and vice-chair of national Symposium Committee, NRPA; Member, American Park and Recreation Society; Member, American Academy for Park and Recreation Association (since 1986); and Member and Past President, South Carolina Field Trail Association.  Recipient of the Meritorious Professional, American Park and Recreation Society; and Life-time Achievement Award, South Carolina Recreation and Park Association..
